Completed in September of 2015, this new build project was an exciting and unique venture for all parties involved.
Archway took the role of lead subcontractor on this new build office headquarters in Stockport, for a national wholesaler, as part of a £5million project. Our original package included approximately 4,500 m2 of suspended ceilings, 2,500 m2 of partitions, 1,000 m2 of wall linings, column encasements, bulkheads, tape and jointing, and fire barrier works – which were worth £30,000 alone.
In addition to these items, we carried out the fitting of the new W/C cubicles, IPS units, circa 100 doors and various other joinery items including skirting.
Working together under the canopy of main contractor TAD Construction, the project was completed with time to spare from the original approximation of 1 year from ‘dig to handover.’
The development was a part of a unique and contractless approach between TAD and Archway – and the benefits of this trusting partnership were fully reaped at completion stage. With the promise of future developments on the land, this exciting venture has only just begun.
